This is gonna be tough.
I’m glad I started this project with a clear outline for this story, and rough character backgrounds. I am progressing slowly in my word count, but without that information I likely would not have progressed at all.
I found an excellent Word Count Tracking template online, and I will definitely be using it a lot going forward.
To maintain a steady course, I need to write 1,112 words per day.
My first few days only resulted in 627 words. September long weekend helped me catch up, and now it’s looking good. I’ve been updating the banner, but unfortunately, it’s going to show a (very discouraging) zero percent until I break 10,000 words.
As long as everything stays on track, I should hit that sometime this upcoming week.
